Tickets are available online a few months before the event. The price of a ticket in advance is $20 and on the day of the tour the tickets are $25. The Tour website address to purchase your ticket is: RHGCTour.com. Save your confirmation and bring it to the Welcome Tent the day of the tour.
The Welcome Tent is located in front of 532 Pierce Ave. (just north of Kauffman Memorial Garden). Show your e-ticket receipt and receive your tour bracelet. In case of rain, check RHGCTOUR.com to see if the event will shift to Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There are no refunds.
Children under 12 years of age will be admitted free, but must be closely supervised in all gardens. No pets are allowed on the Tour.
The Tour will feature 8 beautiful gardens and 40 homes of architectural interest in the historic Rockhill neighborhood.
The tour will take approximately 2 - 3 hours.
The Tour is self-guided and features homes and gardens that are located throughout the Rockhill neighborhood. A Tour map will be provided both on the Tour website and in the Tour Brochure. It
is recommended that you follow the Tour map but you may also visit the homes and gardens in any order.
Guests are encouraged to park at the Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden parking lot, 4800 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, MO 64110. Tour parking is also available in the Rockhill neighborhood, except where no parking signs are posted.
Yes, but please be respectful of home owners’ privacy. The only yards open for the tour are those listed in the Tour Brochure as Home and Garden. Except for those 8 gardens, we recommend viewing the historic homes from the sidewalk.
The proceeds from the tour go to the costs involved with producing the event with the remainder going to the beautification and preservation of the public gardens in the Rockhill neighborhood.
